Maple's Apothecary
An upcoming 2d animated tv series following a young elf protagonist running a potion shop alongside her 3 friends. They journey on various mystical adventures from crystal caves to enchanted forests.
About this project
Maple's Apothecary is a passion project of mine, Brayden Huffer, which will follow Maple Grove alongside her 3 friends Genesis, Sporelax, and Arkon as they manage a potion shop. They will be going on different adventures that will explore various themes pertaining to the character that the episode is focused on. We are quite early in development, however we do have artwork and pencil tests. We are actively working to provide more content and to grow our audience.
Maple is a young elf druid who has always longed for her own business. She's always been a community person, and loves participating in various activities to support not only her friends but the communities around her.
Genesis is a fun-loving swordswoman who LOVES adventure, fighting monsters (or people), and her best friend Sporelax. Despite all of this, she does care about her appearance a lot, wanting to appear majestic or pretty to those around her.
Sporelax is a teenage and sometimes quite puerile mushroom mage. Coming from a lineage of mages, he is naturally attuned to his spark (the magic essence inside living creatures.) He was separated from his colony before he was a teenager, and eventually found Genesis.
Arkon comes from the hellfire dimension, and vowed under an ancient magical contract to protect Maple's family lineage. He's the more mysterious out of the bunch, but that doesn't mean he cares any less. He's quite stoic, and doesn't care much to swap pleasantries, but is content with being the caretaker of the apothecary.
