Platform purpose
CoPromote exists to facilitate authentic, mutually beneficial collaborations between Brands and Creators. All use of the platform must be consistent with this purpose. You agree to engage honestly and in good faith with other users and with the platform.
Prohibited activities
You may not use the Website and Services to publish content or engage in activity that is illegal, harmful, or deceptive. The following are expressly prohibited:
- Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent Collab listings, applications, or Spotlight listings.
- Misrepresenting your identity, follower counts, audience demographics, engagement rates, or brand affiliation.
- Promising rewards you do not intend to fulfill, or accepting Collab opportunities you do not intend to complete.
- Soliciting other users to transact outside the platform in a manner designed to circumvent platform policies or obligations.
- Distributing malware, spyware, or any malicious code.
- Disclosing sensitive personal information about other users without their consent.
- Scraping, harvesting, or systematically collecting user data or contact information from the platform.
- Distributing pornography, adult content, or content that is harmful to minors.
- Promoting or facilitating prostitution, escort services, gambling, violence, terrorist activity, or the sale of weapons or controlled substances.
- Engaging in pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing recruitment, or other models designed to solicit payments from members of the public under false pretenses.
- Threatening harm to any person or engaging in harassing, stalking, or intimidating behavior.
- Infringing the intellectual property or other proprietary rights of others.
- Facilitating, encouraging, or aiding any of the above activities.
Collab listing standards
Brands who post Collaboration listings must ensure that all listing details are accurate and complete, including reward type and value, deliverable requirements, eligibility criteria, and any geographic or demographic restrictions. Listings that are misleading, bait-and-switch in nature, or that offer compensation grossly disproportionate to the effort required will be subject to removal. Repeated listing violations may result in account suspension.
Creator conduct
Creators who apply to and accept Collaborations are expected to fulfill the agreed deliverables honestly and within any stated timeframes. Submitting fabricated, plagiarized, or AI-generated content as original creative work when that is not what was agreed upon is prohibited. Creators must not artificially inflate social media metrics (such as purchasing followers or engagement) and then represent those metrics as genuine to Brands.
Reviews and feedback
Reviews submitted on the platform must reflect genuine experience. You may not submit fake, paid, or coerced reviews, or use reviews as a tool for extortion or retaliation. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate this Policy.
System abuse
Any user who violates the security or integrity of the Services is subject to immediate account termination and may face civil or criminal liability. Prohibited conduct includes:
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any user account or platform system.
- Using tools designed to probe, scan, or exploit vulnerabilities in the Website or Services.
- Transmitting files containing viruses, corrupted data, or code designed to disrupt platform functionality.
- Interfering with platform performance through denial-of-service attacks or similar methods.
No spam policy
You may not use the platform's messaging or communication features to send spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or promotional communications to users who have not requested them. All platform communications must comply with applicable law including the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act. Sending messages to users who have asked not to be contacted is strictly prohibited.
Content standards
Content you post on the platform must not be defamatory, obscene, threatening, harassing, or otherwise unlawful. We reserve the right to moderate, remove, or restrict any content at our sole discretion. Copyrighted material may not be posted without the explicit permission of the rights holder. Account security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You should use a strong, unique password and change it periodically. You must not share your account credentials with any other person. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Enforcement
We reserve the right to determine the seriousness of each violation and to take corrective action, including:
- Removing content that violates this Policy.
- Issuing warnings or temporary account restrictions.
- Suspending or permanently terminating your account with or without notice.
- Reporting violations to law enforcement authorities.
Accounts suspended or terminated for Policy violations will not be reinstated. Nothing in this Policy limits any other rights or remedies available to us under applicable law.
